3 9:45 The Energy Audit – measuring energy usage of appliances, understanding your energy bills.

10:45 Energy efficient appliances – what to look for?
4 11:30 Energy efficient building design – the key elements: insulation, orientation, glazing, shading, thermal mass, ventilation and landscaping.
12:30 Lunch
5 1:15 Solar water heating – system types, sizing, costs, performance and booster control, installation issues.
7 14:30 Workshop – Answers to common questions

1 9:00 Grid Connected PV Systems –system types, components, size, performance, costs, installation issues.
2 10:00 Rain water systems – water demand, conservation and management, rain water tank configurations (Aust. Standards) and system components, pollutant sources, optimising tank size to demand, rainfall and roof area.

4 11:15 Grey water systems – key safety issues, system types, regulations, costs.
